Relesoft Awarded EULYNX Compliance Testing Contract for Finland’s Digirail Project

The Finnish Transport Infrastructure Agency (FTIA) has signed a contract with Relesoft Oy to deliver a comprehensive EULYNX compliance testing system and associated services for the Digirail Project in Finland. The goal is to ensure that the interfaces of the newly procured signalling systems are implemented correctly and in full accordance with EULYNX specifications in the first commercial track section (EKA, Tampere-Pori/Lielahti).
The testing system and services will play a key role during the system integration testing phase, enhancing transparency and flexibility in the development and acceptance testing processes. The system will be used in reviewing signalling system vendors Mipro and Siemens Mobility, both of whom are systems vendors in Finland’s first commercial multivendor EULYNX-based trackside signalling initiative.
This contract is strengthening Relesoft’s testing platform as a leading solution for infrastructure managers seeking to verify compliance of signalling systems against standardized EULYNX requirements. For Relesoft, the contract validates the value of its services in supporting a complex implementation phase where infrastructure managers and all vendors are navigating the challenges of adopting open interface specifications on a large scale.

Relesoft’s testing center (RTC) is a state-of-the-art automated testing system that supports both automated and manual testing of signalling systems. Test case management database and simulation system enables extensive network configurations, covering official EULYNX test cases for object controllers and a wide range of test scenarios for interlocking and traffic control systems.
At its core, the Relesoft system streamlines the planning and management of complex signalling engineering tasks. It allows network configuration and communication data to be handled in a machine-readable format, making it possible to create a real “digital twin” of the signalling system. This first-of-its-kind approach brings significant improvements in efficiency for both planning, configuration data management and testing.
