Czech RRF Opportunities in the Railway Sector 14.3.2024
Czech Republic has one of the most dense railway networks in the world. The share of trams and metro in passenger transportation is the highest in Europe. All in all Czech Republic is a heavyweight rail transportation country. Yet, only one third of the railway network is electrified, and there is a need to increase the safety on the rails as well. The national RRF package has major investments into these topics.
Embassy of Finland has contracted a market survey on the railway market in Czech Republic, and the study was successfully done by Spondeo. The study describes overall view of the market, and identifies market potential for Finnish companies and even makes recommendations to the market entry. Business Finland together with ITS Finland, Embassy of Finland in Prague, and Fintraffic are organizing a webinar to present the key results of the study. The study is focused on the railway industry, but many application are also relevant for other manufacturing industries, which are also strong in Czech Republic.
This webinar is meant for Finnish companies working in such areas as digitalization, mobility, energy, green transition, low carbon solutions.
