TEAM FINLAND VISIT TO INDONESIA

The purpose of this Team Finland visit led by Minister of Economic Affairs of Finland, Mr. Wille Rydman, is to show commitment from Finnish government to the Nusantara project and energy co-operation.

Nusantara is by far the biggest Smart and Sustainable City construction in Indonesia in coming decades. With its 32 Bl. USD budget it will be a flagship for development of Indonesian cities for decades. Finland has been chosen as a knowledge partner for Nusantara.

Participarting Finnish companies have a chance to connect with the stakeholder base of Nusantara project during the visit by meeting with project owners and executing companies to find new business contacts and partners. We also advance the ongoing proof of concepts of Finnish joint solutions. There is a possibility to visit Nusantara site (during 1-2 February) at East Kalimantan province to meet with Nusantara authorities and stakeholders.

Nevertheless, Jakarta will remain as the business hub of Indonesia. Jakarta has many new development projects to enhance livability in the city. We will meet Jakarta developers to engage with the projects and connect with the project owners.

During the visit, a kick-off for the bilateral governmental energy working group between Finland and Indonesia will be held. Companies from different sectors of energy are invited to the working group. We also meet major stakeholders and customers of energy transition, transport electrification, electricity grid and waste to energy.
