Teconer designs, produces and markets innovative mobile and fixed road weather measuring systems based on optical technology.

The systems assist in planning the winter maintenance operations and in controlling the quality of the operations. The information on surface condition, friction, water layer thickness, surface temperature and dew point is provided in a user-friendly format to the vehicle driver and the same data can be viewed in practically real-time in the maintenance operation centres. Optimization of the use of de-icing agents decreases the environmental impact of the activities. The combination of mobile measurements and stationary road weather stations provides a good coverage of weather-related developments in the whole road network and contributes to improvement of road and runway weather forecasts.
